This second version of the Music Box was created in collaboration with Yako and installed for a month in the window of the La Centrale Galerie Powerhouse in Montreal.

Passerby could activate the large motor-controlled plexiglass gears through the window and play the tiny music box from the streets. Speakers placed outside the window would play the live feed of the music box as it was being controlled from the outside.

Music was composed by Philippe Hughes and the original idea is inspired by the Music Box version 1 created for the Carlton Arms hotel installation with Brigitte Henry.
